Many agents would not have attempted it but Mary believed in me and guided us through with excellence, efficiency, class and compassion, going above and beyond for my family. Anyone can learn the real estate trade but it takes an exceptional person to navigate the emotional component inevitable in buying, selling and moving. In the midst of it all, two tragedies struck our family. On the days when my will was broken, Mary stepped in at every turn, acting with me and even for me, connecting me with the many resources at her fingertips. Initially negotiations for the house began on Christmas Eve of 2013. Even during the busy holiday season Mary was incredibly responsive and focused on our home purchase. Mary calmly walked us through some emotional moments (when we thought we might not get the house because the seller was a little unreasonable) but she didn't let the deal fall through. We recently referred a friend of ours to Mary. Our friends' experience was just like ours: five stars all the way!!! J Davis

We started our home-buying process as many do, attending open houses. There was one property my husband really, really liked. It went off the market right before we were able to take a second look, but we also really, really liked the realtor that showed the house, Mary Nelson. We contacted Mary on very short notice because we had planned another house hunting trip and the house we wanted was off the market. Mary and Kathy did an amazing job on really short time helping us to find just-listed houses, looking at houses and scouting beforehand ones we had picked out from the internet to view. We found the right house and Mary went back with us a couple times so we could be sure. She was also a great asset in providing local information regarding lenders and we were able to close quickly. Mary was our 2nd agent for the sale. We initially chose someone else, another very reputable agent for high end real estate, but were quickly dissapointed with the way they represented our interests — very pushy and unprofessional, invest as little as possible and sell for the least amount as quickly as possible was their attitude. We had a completely different experience with Mary and her team. Our interests were her main goal. Mary taking the time to understand how much our property was worth regardless of comps, ultimately made her the best agent for us and got us very close to the price we were looking for.
